We will constantly provide you with feedback about your child's progress.
Record Keeping:
your child will be allocated to a key person who is responsible for liasing with you about your child's progress and development; and recognising and fulfilling your child's needs.
your child will have a record keeping folder, covering every aspect of their intellectual, physical, social and emotional development in accordance with the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum’. These folders are always available for you to look at and make contributions.
staff and parents are able to monitor progress and identify any area where further support may be required.
observations are carried out on a daily basis.

"My Day" Books / Sheets- completed on a daily basis for each of the babies and younger toddlers, highlighting favourite activities, food eaten, sleeps, nappy changes etc.
staff communicate daily with you about your child's time at Nursery.
parent consultations available throughout the year.
2½ year developmental check with a follow up consultation.
Moving up a room:
children move up to new rooms according to both age and stage of development.
opportunities for visits to the new room are planned, key person is allocated.
a "transition" meeting is held with staff and parents.
Children with additional needs:
"...Children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities receive excellent support because staff are committed to the inclusion of all children within the setting..." (OFSTED 2007)
all children follow the same curriculum and those with extra needs will be given the necessary support in order to learn at their own pace.
