Babies Welcome Pack

Daily Routine

Breakfast 

7:45 - 8:45 am

We offer a choice of healthy breakfast options including cereals, wholemeal toast, fruit yoghurts and fresh fruit. Fresh water is available throughout the day.

Sensory Play

8:45 - 9:00 am

We provide a variety of sensory experiences for the child to explore 

Play . Explore . Learn

9:00 - 10:00 am

The children have access to a range of indoor and outdoor activities purposely provided to further their learning. They are able to choose where they would like to play. Practitioners provide support as needed helping the children learn new skills and developing  their abilities. 

Snack Time

10:00 - 10:15 am

We offer a choice of healthy snacks, Snack time also provides opportunites to practice everyday baby signing such as, please, more, finished etc 

Move & Learn 

10:15 - 11:45 am

The children have access to indoor and outdoor physical play as well as 1:1 focused activates 

Singing & Signing  

11:45 - 12 noon

The children are encouraged to join a small group time singing nursery rhymes and Makaton supported songs with props and puppets 

Lunch Time 

12 noon

We like to make plenty of healthy choices when planning our menus. All our meals are homemade and cooked on site by our nursery chef. We provide a varied balanced menu using locally sourced free range meats and sustainably sourced fish. Our potatoes and eggs come from a local farm in Sawtry. We love to grow and then harvest fruit and vegetables from the nursery garden. We opt for organic milk, grass fed meats and other products that are full of Omega-3 to ensure our children have healthy minds as well as bodies.

Nap Time

12:30 - 2:00 pm

Staff follow the individual sleep patterns for each baby, however many of the babies will generally sleep between these times.

2:00 - 3:45 pm

The children have access to a range of indoor and outdoor activities purposely provided to further their learning. They are able to choose where they would like to play. Practitioners provide support as needed helping the children learn new skills and developing  their abilities. 

Tea Time

3.45 pm

The children are offered a light homemade tea with the choice of milk or water. Our practitioners understand the importance of uninterrupted play, so we provide a 'rolling tea' allowing the children to consider when to finish playing and when they would like to eat.

4:15 - 6:00 pm

The children have access to a range of indoor and outdoor activities purposely provided to further their learning. They are able to choose where they would like to play. Practitioners provide support as needed helping the children learn new skills and developing  their abilities.
